1Who We Are
LexPK ("Lex", "we", "us") is a Pakistani legal-technology platform accessible at new-lex-pink.vercel.app and via WhatsApp, offering AI-assisted legal research, document drafting, court-fee calculation, a law library, and a lawyer/law-firm marketplace.
LexPK is not a law firm, is not a substitute for a licensed advocate, and nothing produced by the AI chat, drafting, or research tools constitutes legal advice. For advice on an actual matter, consult a qualified Pakistani lawyer — including, if you choose, one you engage through our Lawyer Marketplace (see Section 6).
2Eligibility and Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts used to abuse the platform, submit fraudulent lawyer/law-firm applications, or violate these terms.
3AI-Generated Content Is Not Legal Advice
Chat responses, drafted documents, jurisdiction/court suggestions, and any other AI-generated output are produced automatically and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Always verify AI-generated output against the original statute, an official government source, or a licensed lawyer before relying on it — especially before filing anything with a court or government office.
4Ownership of Legislation and Government Content (Law Library)
The Law Library lists Acts, Ordinances, and other legislative instruments of Pakistan, together with links to their official text on government sources such as pakistancode.gov.pk.
- These legislations are public government documents. LexPK does not author, own, or hold any copyright or other proprietary interest in the underlying statutory text.
- LexPK does not claim to be the source, publisher, or custodian of any legislation shown in the Law Library — we index and link to it for convenience only.
- Titles, categories, and summaries shown alongside each entry are provided for search and reference purposes and may not reflect the most recent amendments. The official text linked from each card is the authoritative version.
- The same applies to case law, court directories, and other third-party legal or government content referenced anywhere on the platform.
5LexPK's Own Content and Intellectual Property
Aside from third-party and government content described in Section 4, the LexPK name, logo, platform design, and original written material (such as glossary entries and drafting templates we author) are owned by LexPK. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the platform itself without permission.
6Lawyer and Law Firm Marketplace
Lawyer and law-firm profiles, including those marked "Registered with Lex," are based on information submitted by the professional or firm and reviewed by our team before approval. Listing on LexPK is not a guarantee, endorsement, or warranty of a lawyer's or firm's competence, and LexPK is not a party to any engagement between a user and a listed lawyer or firm.
This is the one place on LexPK where a genuine attorney-client relationship can form: if you book a consultation with or otherwise formally engage a lawyer or firm through the Marketplace, that relationship exists directly between you and that lawyer or firm, governed by whatever engagement terms they give you — not with LexPK. Everywhere else on the platform (AI chat, Draft Studio, research tools, WhatsApp bot) remains informational only, as described in Sections 1 and 3.
7Acceptable Use
- Do not use LexPK for unlawful purposes or to generate documents intended to mislead a court, government office, or another person.
- Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the platform or its APIs.
- Do not submit false credentials when applying as a lawyer or law firm.
8Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
LexPK is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LexPK and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on AI-generated content, drafted documents, third-party legal content, or the conduct of any lawyer or law firm found through the marketplace.
9Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of LexPK after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
10Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
